Eland Cables began trading in 1975, and is now a leading International supplier of electrical cables and cable accessories.
In 2000, as a result of increased turnover and an expansion in our product range, we opened a state-of-the-art purpose-built Distribution Centre in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. This significant investment ensured continued quality of service, increased availability and wider choice. It also enabled us to build an enviable portfolio of successfully managed, high profile multi-million pound projects.
The ability to accurately service an increased number of orders and secure quicker turnaround times led to further expansion in 2001, with the introduction of a dedicated Rail Division. This was followed shortly afterwards by the creation of a multilingual Export Division. Experienced people with a specialist knowledge base have served to reinforce our commitment to understanding the needs of both individual markets and the cable industry as a whole.
Eland Cables' commercial headquarters are located in North London, supporting an outlying sales force covering the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe.
What we offer
Eland Cables consists of three divisions:
Eland Cables Cable Division – offers a huge range of electrical cables approved to British and International standards, as well as accessories from stock.
Eland Cables Rail Division – a market leader in the supply of cables for Railway. Over the last five years we have built up a strong reputation and are proud to be working in partnership with Network Rail and its approved contractors, providing a range of approved cables and accessories.
Eland Cables Export Division – services Europe, Africa, the Far and Middle East and the Americas with cables and cable accessories. Our Team is fully versed in incoterms and export documentation. They are fluent in French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
